Held on March 8, 2025, and hosted by the nonprofit Champions of Swords, Testudo Bellum 2025 brought buhurt back to the California shores. Here, a new landscape was established against the previously dominant Ordo Draconis. The Santa Barbara Soldados reigned supreme on the day of the tournament, defeating all comers in the full round-robin event to finish with the gold medal. Order of the Gauntlet and Rose, whose previous season record stood at a humble 1-14, also unseated Ordo Draconis from the podium, taking 2nd place at their season debut. While the Phoenix Blood Eagles, coming off a rough performance from Carolina Carnage Fest, took third and claimed their first medalist finish for the season.
Multiple teams were also making their first appearances here for the start of the season, the Manticores and Death Dealers each leaving with a victory of their own to jumpstart them into the season. For more results and team scorecards, check out the information below.
